| Assembling a BRITA Pitcher is easy. Just follow the four simple steps below. 1. Soak the appropriate BRITA water filter in cold tap water for 15 minutes. 2. Hand-wash the BRITA Pitcher, lid and reservoir with a mild detergent. 3. Hold the BRITA water filter upright under cold, running tap water for a few seconds. 4. Insert the BRITA water filter into the reservoir by lining up the groove in the filter with the notch in the reservoir. Press firmly to ensure a tight seal. Fill the reservoir with cold water.
